RUSS ALBUM Over the past 35 years I have worked as a radio personality and musician...
I had the honor of meeting and spending time with many of the Rock & Roll Heroes of our time. Through these experiences, I gained knowledge that is fascinating and enlightening! The truth is, I am a huge fan of music and the history behind the music. That is how the Wax Museum was created - in the early days of radio, DJs used to call 45s stacks of wax. So for two hours a week, the Wax Museum will transport you back in time, to a specific year and play the music from that year, along the way I'll give y ou the news headlines and other historical bits of information that will bring you back to the memories you acquired during that particular year. Its all about the music and the memories that music has created in you. They say that music is the universal language and we all speak it. So ask yourself, what song comes to mind when you remember your first kiss, your first love, your first car or your high school graduation? I hope you will join me for a great trip back in time!

Steve Summers, Host of The 70s Shack...
Steve's extensive work in radio spans almost 25 years. Having served in a multitude of different formats and in different markets including, Phoenix, Arizona, Portland, Oregon & Oklahoma City to name a few, Steve's main love has always been the 70's.

"I've had more fun playing the hits of the songs I grew up with than almost any format I've ever played. Music is my life, my passion & where my career heart will always be."

Mostly inspired by his fathers work as an engineer at a radio station, as a 7 year old, Steve knew then that that he had a dream to follow.

"As a kid I still remember peering through the glass of that radio station control room . I couldn't wait to see how the DJ's made the magic happen. Later, as I grew into the business I was fortunate enough to get in while we were still playing actual records on the radio."

Today, Steve's success exceeds in the Voice Over industry serving nationally for Discount Tire Company, Ashley Furniture Homestore, Hasbro Toys, Sony Products & My Network Television stations.

Join Steve Sunday evenings at 9:00 on 98.5 UPS.

M.G. "Machine Gun" KELLY began his radio career in 1970, while still a junior in high school. His first station was KTEN in Ada, Oklahoma playing song dedications to schoolmates. A year later, M.G. was hired by KOMA in Oklahoma City. While at KOMA, he came to the attention of radio mogul, Lee Abrams who brought Kelly to Cleveland in late 1972 for afternoon drive at WGCL. The following year, radio consultant Kent Burkart presented “The Gunner” to KSTP in Minneapolis, as Kelly became part of the team that drove the 16th ranked station to number 2 in just 100 days. This dramatic ratings increase caught the attention of RKO Radio and 21-year-old Machine Gun Kelly was shooting straight to the legenda ry 93 KHJ in Los Angeles.

Machine Gun Kelly was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. The same year his work from KHJ was introduced at The Museum of Television and Radio.

M.G. now resides in Los Angeles and is in charge of his own radio syndication company, MGK Communications. He produces and hosts what many in the radio industry call, “The best work of his career."
--The American Hit List for oldies stations and The Amazing '80s for Hot AC and CHR.

M.G. Kelly is now heard each week on over 200 radio stations across America.

STEVE BLACK - I grew up in Flushing, Michigan (out in the sticks) between Flint and Saginaw. I have been on Detroit rock radio for more than 15 years now. I have always done specialty shows, form "Studio Z" to The very popular "Listening Room", to "Ultimate Albums". I’ve always made an attempt to show radio listeners that there is much more to the craft of making music that meets most of their ears. All of my past shows and radio experience have led me to my new passion, "The Chop Sho", A guitar show for all rock & roll fans. It’s not just about the fastest players, or the heaviest, or the most technical, but rather a celebration of all those who have chosen a life centered around the instrument.
