RUSS ALBUM Over the past 35 years I have worked as a
radio personality and musician...
I had the honor of meeting and spending time with many of the Rock
& Roll Heroes of our time. Through these experiences, I gained
knowledge that is fascinating and enlightening! The truth is, I am a
huge fan of music and the history behind the music. That is how the Wax
Museum was created - in the early days of radio, DJs used to call 45s
stacks of wax. So for two hours a week, the Wax Museum will transport
you back in time, to a specific year and play the music from that year,
along the way I'll give y ou the news headlines and other historical
bits of information that will bring you back to the memories you
acquired during that particular year. Its all about the music and the
memories that music has created in you. They say that music is the
universal language and we all speak it. So ask yourself, what song
comes to mind when you remember your first kiss, your first love, your
first car or your high school graduation? I hope you will join me for a
great trip back in time!

STEVE BLACK - I grew up in Flushing, Michigan (out
in the sticks) between Flint and Saginaw. I have been on Detroit rock
radio for more than 15 years now. I have always done specialty shows,
form "Studio Z" to The very popular "Listening Room", to "Ultimate
Albums". I’ve always made an attempt to show radio listeners that
there is much more to the craft of making music that meets most of
their ears. All of my past shows and radio experience have led me to my
new passion, "The Chopp Shop", A guitar show for all rock & roll
fans. It’s not just about the fastest players, or the heaviest,
or the most technical, but rather a celebration of all those who have
chosen a life centered around the instrument.

Joe Charlevoix,
Meteorologist - Joe was born in Norway Michigan, a small town
located on the Wisconsin border near Iron Mountain in the Upper
Peninsula. Ever since he was a young child, he has been fascinated with
the weather. When Joe was 3 or 4 years old, he was drawing weather maps
with crayons and his eyes were glued to the television meteorologists,
most notably at WLUC TV6 in Marquette.
Joe attended college at
Valparaiso University in Indiana and one of his best memories from
college was his freshman year when Valparaiso went to the Sweet 16 in
the college basketball tournament. While in college, Joe pursued a
degree in Broadcast Meteorology and interned in Chicago at WGN-TV. Joe
graduated from college in May 2001 with a degree in Meteorology and a
minor in Geography. He is married to his wonderful wife Sara, and he
has a daughter, Ava, born in May of 2009.
